Work
Systems I’ve built that handle real volume. Client work under NDA is recreated; the figures are real.

Built at Smart Web Agency for a recruitment client, under NDA
AI resume screening pipeline
An LLM screening layer added to the client’s existing hiring pipeline, built in 18 hours on Laravel, Redis queues, LangChain and Gemma 27B. It triaged every application in a single nine-day batch run, the client reported almost 72% less manual work, and the annual hiring round moved from July to April.
27,431 applications screened in 9 days

Squatwolf, Dubai. 2020 to 2021
Shipping label automation
I owned Squatwolf’s in-house order processing and inventory system, and joined WooCommerce and five shipping carriers into one fulfilment pipeline, so paid orders turn into shipping labels in bulk. The heavy lifting runs on async workers.
8m 32s → 45s average time to create a label, 91% faster
-
Marketplace client, under NDA
Multi-tenant Stripe earnings dashboard
A Stripe Connect dashboard that brings three kinds of account holder into one place: vendors, restaurants and drivers. Each sees their own earnings, orders, payout schedule and reports, and Redis caching keeps queries under a second on high-volume payout data.
$2.41M revenue in 30 days, up 18.4%

Viasox, freelance via Upwork. 2022
Viasox order tool, 37 seconds to 4
Viasox’s Laravel order processing tool took 37 seconds to open and up to 18 seconds per order. AJAX loading, the right indexes, caching and a partitioned order history made it fast enough to work through orders one after another.
37s → 4s first load of the order page

ContiStyles, a fashion marketplace selling into the EU. 2024
ContiStyles product catalogue and rules engine
I replaced a hard-coded product form with a typed attribute engine: 15 input types, category inheritance, and a rules engine with 10 predicates and 5 effects that the server runs again on every save. The client’s spec is encoded as 81 PHP spec files, about 342 attribute codes, which drive a 5-step vendor wizard and the storefront filters.
~342 attribute codes, seeded from the client’s spec

Butchers Guild, a UK local-butcher marketplace. 2023 to 2025
Butchers Guild, meat ordered by weight
I built a Laravel app where customers find the butchers within 2.75 miles of their address, set each cut’s weight, preparation and marinade with a live price, and pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay through Square. One admin form sets up a butcher’s shop and login, and copies a template shop’s catalogue five levels deep.
2.75 mi radius for finding nearby butchers
-
Atnda, a UK education start-up. 2023 to 2026
Atnda classroom bookings, payouts and student progress
From 2023 to 2025 I was the principal developer of a platform where UK schools rent classrooms to DBS-checked teachers. I built calendars that reject overlapping slots, Stripe Checkout and monthly Stripe Connect payouts net of fees. When it grew into student progress, I shared the work with a teammate, built a spreadsheet importer that saves each row in its own transaction, and built a Week A/B timetable with clash checks on my own.
63 Eloquent models, with 167 migrations

Clover Cars, a London private-hire operator. 2023
Clover Cars route bidding for council transport
Admins build council transport routes from postcodes, with each leg’s mileage from Google Distance Matrix. Drivers bid inside a price band once all 7 compliance documents are on file, and the winner hears by SMS in one click.
7 documents on file before a driver can bid

A US company selling tickets and concessions online for independent cinema chains, under NDA. 2022
Cinema ticketing across four box-office systems
An established white-label platform that sells real seats from each cinema’s own box-office system, and charges the card only after the box office confirms the order. From July to October 2022 I built its processing fee on every transaction, and worked on checkout and refunds: Stripe’s real decline reasons, a checkout timer that gives back the time spent on a payment, and refunds that also cancel the concession order.
4 POS adapters in the platform, behind one interface

Lady Rafat Medical Centre, Karachi. 2025 to 2026
Pharmacy point of sale for Lady Rafat Medical Centre
The pharmacy kept its stock in a 56-sheet Excel workbook, so I built a Laravel 12 system around a sales counter run from the keyboard, with an 80mm thermal receipt that prints itself. Purchases and returns move stock by fixed rules, returns need a super-admin to sign them off, and pay-later sales are tracked against named customers.
56 sheets in the Excel workbook the stock lived in

AccuAligners, a clear-aligner lab. 2023
AccuAligners tooth charts and staged payments
As one of two developers on an inherited Laravel 9 portal, I turned a prescription of a few switches and a comment box into guided questions and clickable tooth charts in Universal, FDI or Palmer numbering. I also restructured billing into milestones priced in the dentist’s own currency, and added attachments, voice notes and queued emails to each case’s messages.
3 tooth numbering systems on one 32-tooth map

Adrevex, a B2B marketplace start-up. 2021 to 2022
Adrevex storefront window marketplace, phase 1
I built phase 1 of Adrevex, a B2B marketplace where shops rent out their storefront windows to other businesses as monthly ad space. Sellers draw their shop front to scale and price each window, buyers pick windows on that drawing with a running total, and an approved request becomes a monthly Stripe subscription. Built in Laravel 8 after a React and Inertia prototype.
-
MyLivebrary, a reading community MVP. 2022 to 2023
MyLivebrary community reading platform
I built MyLivebrary myself as a Laravel 8 MVP. Members sign in with email, Facebook, Google or Amazon, upload books that an admin approves, read them in the browser and add their own chapter versions. Questions, versions and discussion comments reach their owner through one notification bell that checks for unread items every five seconds.

Red Dot Visuals, a photo and video studio in Atlanta. 2023
Red Dot Visuals site and CMS
I turned a ready-made agency HTML template into a Laravel 10 site for Red Dot Visuals, a photo and video studio in Atlanta, and built a custom CMS behind it. Category tags drive the site's photo and video filters, before and after edits render as drag sliders, project pages carry crew credits, and YouTube thumbnails are taken from a pasted link.

Smart Web Agency. 2024
Kaleidoscope inclusion platform
An equality, diversity and inclusion platform for workplaces, built in Laravel 10, that charts who works there, compares the workforce with its local area and runs a monthly pulse survey. KAI, its AI assistant on OpenAI, underlines exclusionary words in writing and suggests better ones, and character stories teach through video and reflection questions.
6 diversity dimensions, with intersectional groups
